3 Current Tourements and Events Articals SUMMER JUNIOR PROGRAMS 2007 Junior Golf Programs DynaSwingFIT Teaching Professionals Shelby Smith and Russ Brown have developed an excellent junior program for Whispering Pines.  Their participation as instructors and coaches in The First Tee Program proves their commitment to junior golf and the youth of the community.  Whispering Pines Junior Mini Camps Basic fundamentals, full swing and short game development, etiquette and rules will be taught in a FUN and relaxed environment.  Camps include three days of instruction on Tuesday through Thursday mornings from 9am to 12pm and nine holes of golf on Friday.  Dates for the camps are as follows:        JUNE  12-15 and 19-22        JULY  3-6, 17-20 and July 31-August 3        AUGUST  14-17 The cost for each weekly session is $125.00 which includes shirt, cap and lunch each day.  Register your child today.  Call 843-918-2305 or register in person at Whispering Pines Golf Course. Contact us by email or call the Pro Shop at 843-918-2305 for more info. *********************************************************************   LOW JUNIOR RATES Whispering Pines Junior Clinics These low cost, entry-level clinics are primarily designed for the junior with little experience in golf.  However, any junior will benefit from instruction that focuses on learning the fundamentals in the full swing, chipping, pitching, and putting. In addition, the students will be exposed to the rules, proper etiquette, and course management situations that they will encounter on the course. Our goal is not just to teach them how to hit a golf ball, but how to play the game and enjoy it. Some clubs are available for use for those who do not have any. These 2-day clinics will be held on the following Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9:00-10:30 am: JUNE 26&27          JULY 10&11         AUGUST 7&8 Cost is only $15 per junior, per clinic.  Pre-registration is preferred but not mandatory at least 7 days in advance.  Contact us by email or call the Pro Shop at 843-918-2305 for more info. ************************************************************************       LOW JUNIOR RATES Juniors age 6-16 can play here at Whispering Pines for only $15 any day of the year. That's $15 for 4 hours of fun.  See how far $15 will go at the water park, or amusement park, or arcade, or most any other Myrtle Beach attraction.  So mom and dad, spend some quality time with your kids on the golf course this year.
